We're thrilled to announce our monumental special purchase of over 200,000 kilos of Handmade Vintage Italian glass beads! We've bought up oodles of exquisite examples of fine, hand-crafted vintage Murano glass beads made by Societa Veneziana Conterie. Societa Veneziana Conterie was a consortium of 16 independent Venetian bead makers that joined together from 1898-1992. When the consortium shut its doors in 1992, our friends over at Prairie Edge Trading and Galleries rescued all of the consortium's remaining stock of glass beads from an uncertain future. Earlier this summer, we scooped up the the entire lot, to ensure that these little pieces of beaded history can once again be shared and appreciated by all! Most of our Vintage Venetian Seed, Crow, and Chevron Beads were manufactured between the late 1800's and 1920's, while our colorful and intricate Murano Mosaic beads were manufactured in the 1960's-70's.

Description:	SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS 4mm Bicone Tis the Season Mixture contains: White Opal, Crystal AB, Light Siam, and Emerald Set your designs a cut above the rest with the new and revolutionary Xilion facets of SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS (art. 5328) bicones. SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS is giving their classic bicone (art. 5301) a face lift. The Xilion facets are copyright protected and unique only to SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. The copyright protected facets of the new Xilion bicone ensure that your genuine SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS design will be more easily distinguished from designs using inferior crystals! Perfect cuts and alternating large and small facets of the Xilion bicone result in more intense light reflection, than the 5301 bicone, and give the Xilion bicone an incomparable brilliance. The increased number of facets improve the appearance of the crystal, while the rounder center line improves overall wearability of the product. During the transition phase between article 5301 and 5328 SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS will be replacing the 5301 with 5328 one color at a time. As their supply of 5301 runs out they will be sending out the Xilion 5328 in its place. The 5301 and 5328 styles were designed to be used interchangeably, so the transition will cause no negative impact in your designs.
