Aventurine is an often banded translucent to opaque variety of the quartz family, often with tiny sparkling mineral inclusions. While the most common form of aventurine is green, it can also be found in shades of blue, red, and white. It is commonly dyed to produce bold shades of red, blue or green, and also for color consistency. Aventurine's name stems from the Italian "By Chance" from the accidental discovery of "Aventurine Glass" more widely known as Goldstone. Description:	Bronzite is a "weathered" hypersthene. The chemical weathering process is often caused by moisture and temperature. Bronzite exhibits irresistible little flecks of metallic schiller especially along its surfaces. The inclusions sparkle like little flecks of gold in the light. These beads are quite heavy compared to others of the exact same cut. This dark metallic stone would looks nice with both tiger eye and tiger iron. Bronzite can be found in North America, Africa, and Europe.
