Bronzite

Bronzite is a "weathered" hypersthene. The chemical weathering process is often caused by moisture and temperature. Bronzite exhibits irresistible little flecks of metallic schiller especially along its surfaces. The inclusions sparkle like little flecks of gold in the light. These beads are quite heavy compared to others of the exact same cut. This dark metallic stone would looks nice with both tiger eye and tiger iron. Bronzite can be found in North America, Africa, and Europe.

Description:	(Russian Serpentine AKA Russian Jade or Lizardite) Serpentine and Lizardite are both apt names for this stone due to the reptilian appearance of its surface. More translucent examples of serpentine are very often marketed as a faux jade, a few common names for serpentine "jade" are new jade, yellow jade and Afghan jade. Serpentine is a very good looking and versatile stone all on its own and has no need to be marketed as anything other than serpentine. Serpentine is a waxy silicate of magnesium, and is less dense than the true jade it is often substituted for.
