There is little wonder why this striking black and white striped stone is described as "Zebra". This attractive form of Calcite is not a true jasper, it is most likely called a jasper due to its visual similarities to the commonly patterned stone. Please note that Calcite is a more delicate stone than true jaspers. Avoid over exposure to sunlight, sweat, oil, and chemicals such as bleach and chlorine.
