NASA originally developed the unique process of stacking multiple layers of metal oxides and then fusing them with glass for satellite mirrors. The radiant spectrum of colors seen in these beads is a result of different wavelengths of light either passing through or reflecting off of various layers of metal oxides. Each bead is truly an individual work of art; continuously drawing the eye to resplendent colors as light shifts upon the bead. These tear drop shaped Czech seed beads start out very similar to round seed beads, but are thicker on one side with an offset hole. Drop seed beads are great for fringe or finishing off the end of a strand, and are also great for adding irregular texture within a strand. 2/0 Drop seed beads measure about 6mm. Expect to receive about 180 beads per strand.
