Magnesite can be dyed into a broad spectrum of bold colors, most commonly Turquoise. Magnesite is sometimes called misnomers such as lime Turquoise, White Turquoise, or Marshmallow Turquoise, due the dark brown or black matrix commonly seen within the stone.
