Description:	Sodalite is a beautiful intense blue stone with white splotches. It can easily be confused with Lapis Lazuli , and for good reason. Sodalite is nearly identical to Lapis in chemical composition: Sodalite is a sodium aluminum chlorine silicate, and lapis contains sulfur instead of chlorine. Sodalite deposits can be found in Canada, Namibia, USA, Russia and Italy. Sodalite pairs well with lapis lazuli (naturally), Malachite and sterling silver .
