Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Description: Class is held on Sunday November 8th and then continued on Sunday the 15th 10 am until 2 pm
In this 2 day course, you will learn how to sculpt a beautiful willow tree model using wire for the branches and beads of your choice for the leaves. Once you have learned to craft these beautiful decorative trees, you will find yourself making more and more using different wire and bead combinations and personalizing them for your friends and family!
Please bring:
* Wire Cutters, 1 pair Long Nose Pliers, and a Ruler
* 1 Tube of E-6000 Adhesive
* Craft Wire of the Same Color: 3 15 yard Spools of 26 Gauge Wire, 1 Spool of 28 Gauge Wire in a matching color, and (optional) 3 18 Gauge Reinforcing rods
* 200 4-6mm beads of your choice to serve as leaves: Swarovski Crystals or Gemstone chips look awesome!
* One base piece to mount your tree onto: A nice chunk of glass, rock, wood, or ceramic would work best.
* All other materials will be provided by your instructor.
Follow Up: Take the Wire Sculpted Bonsai Tree class to expand you beaded tree repertoire.
