All indispensable findings such as head and eye pins, spacers and jump and split rings can be found in high quality precious metals. Our precious metal findings selection consists of 14 kt gold items, gold filled items and tons of sterling silver items! Gold filled findings also known as gold overlay are a solid layer of gold bonded to a base metal. At least 1/20 of the total weight of the item must be pure gold to be called gold filled and the plating is 50 to 100,000 times thicker than regular gold plating. Sterling silver is a minimum of 92.5% pure silver, with other minerals added to increase the strength and durability of a naturally soft metal.

Description: Easier to use than French wire (bullion or gimp), wire guardians are an effective and simple way to both hide your cable strand and to protect your wire from wear against abrasive findings and clasps. Simply string your stringing material through the wire guardian, attach your split ring or clasp and secure with a crimp!
Gold filled findings also known as gold overlay are a solid layer of gold bonded to a base metal. At least 1/20 of the total weight of the item must be pure gold to be called gold filled and the plating is 50 to 100,000 times thicker than regular gold plating. Thicker plating results in a more durable and longer lasting plate.
