The stainless steel material is perfect for practice and teaching classes. Stainless steel is harder and will work harden faster than other half hard wires. Wire is measured in gauges. The smaller the gauge number, the thicker the wire. This 22 Gauge shaping wire measures about 0.64mm in diameter, and is ideal for most wire wrapped jewelry.
