I must say your website and response to my order are excellent. I also like the flat rate for shipping! PLUS I found these four kinds of beads in my search for just the right off-white bead for a project. It is mysterious to me that this color and size of bead is so hard to find.

I couldn't believe how fast my order came- especially with the holidays. I loved how everything was packaged- all very safe in its own little compartment. The beads I ordered are even better then I had anticipated- so much detail on the Peruvian Ceramic... Also, I had expected some price changes from the catalog because of the way the world is today, and there were some, but they made my purchases cheaper. I love your catalog. It is my favorite book. I flip through it a lot and always find something new, including inspiration. I've recommended it to all my beading friends.

I would also like to add that aside from being very pleased with the quality of the merchandise that I ordered, I was so impressed with your packaging methods. I am use to getting an order in a box that could store a refrigerator with a mile long sheet of bubble wrap, 140lbs. of Styrofoam popcorn all nestled in 130 sheets of crumpled paper and my order consists of 1 pendant, It is ridiculous. The only thing that was wrong, was the silver chain that I ordered was a bit tarnished in places. But I think I can sort that out.

It was FABULOUS!! When I walked in the door, I was like "OMG!" The sales person was like "Now, breathe!" It was pretty funny! Because we were both on a budget, we spent the first several hours just looking and making down where the beads were that we liked. We then had lunch in the Cafe (yummy), and went back to finish up looking. About 4, we decided we had better start picking, as you guys close @ 6. I am SO proud of myself - I did not go over my budget, although it would have been REALLY easy to! My friend went over about $30, but that's okay. I've been using the beads I got, and am enjoying them! I'm a little bummed that the Precosia (?sp) crystals I got were red when I got home - they looked black in the store. That's okay, though - I like red, too!
I can guarantee you we'll be taking a road trip there again soon! Perhaps after the Christmas season, as long as it's not snowing!

Just wanted to tell you how happy I am with your site. I have already ordered from you, BUT
the fact that you have a Wishlist AND a Shopping cart is terrific. I have done my shopping to the wishlist, and as I have the $$$$, I will transfer items to the shopping cart. But the great thing is, it allows you to do the preliminary shopping when you have the time.....and buy when it is convenient. I have never visited another bead site where I can do this. Everything goes into the shopping cart, which forces you to eliminate items if you can only order x amount at one time. Frustrating.

And so now I have another question. How long does the wishlist stay on there? Fire Mountain's shopping cart disappears after 30 days. Does this happen to yours also? I visit the other ones, but I will defer my shopping to your site because of that wishlist. If you also carry an item, I will buy it from you.
Can you handle another compliment? I LOVE the fact you break down the price per item. Anyone elses's site, you have to do the math. I really think that this encourages sales also....it's all spelled out for you right there. I APPRECIATE THAT SO MUCH! It's not that I don't want to do the math...it's just that I am limited when I get the chance to shop on the web. You give us all the answers up front.

Thanks for this info, and would you please share my compliments with the rest of your staff on your efficient and helpful customer service. I had to call twice to ask questions (I'm not an experienced beader!) and send an Email question. I received prompt, courteous, and accurate service in each instance, which is not my typical internet shopping experience.
Your prices are hard to beat which gets the customer in the door. But good customer service is the only guaranteed way to keep them coming back.

Subject: FW: Thank You Date: Wed, 16 April 2003 Good Morning, Just yesterday, I decided to call you or rather your store, and I just had questions. I did not want to order, no specific idea of what I wanted, just wanted to ask some questions about products that I was interested in. I have since then figured out that Shipwreck Beads is a very large company. I bypassed your name in the Bead and Button magazine so many times because it just did not sound like a name of a bead shop, to me anyway, that would have high end beads, or even interesting beads. I had the idea that it was going to be second rate, poor quality merchandise, and I am truly sorry, but I cannot tell you how I came to that conclusion, as I know that Bead and Button is a top-notch magazine, and a great resource. To end this finally, I got a representative at the 800-950-4232 number at about 2.p.m Iowa time, or a bit later, and her name was Patty. She not only exuded enthusiasm, in a professional way, to have me call as a customer, but with every question I asked, she answered seriously, with competence, and with an intent to deliver information that was as detailed as could be. I had already ordered your catalog, but she told me more about it, and the web-site, also giving me some hints on how I would get a 15.00 credit towards the first purchase I make, to offset the 10 dollars I had paid for it. She also went on to explain that if my order was over 50 dollars, then shipping would be free. I am relatively new to beading, but I know that the things I have received so far have been always that total and more, and the times I have been unhappy, I have just taken the loss of shipping. Just now I was looking, out of habit, at another site, for some seed beads, and actually kind of forgot to go to yours. I did, and you had them, and that will save me a 6.50 shipping fee on a 30.00 order, as this other site only sold seed beads, and I could think of nothing else they had to make that shipping fee worthwhile. So........All I want to say is thank you, and to commend your company and especially Patty on helping me yesterday. It turned the corner for me on where I will order, as the more I look into your site, I keep finding things, like the antique pewter. Again, just thank you, and I look forward to the catalog. I am excited and really happy to see that there is this kind of great quality help and kindness towards customers.
