Type 304 is the most versatile and widely used of the authentic stainless steels and is proven to be resistant to oxidation, corrosion, and durability.
Type 316 is a molybdenum alloyed steel which has a greater resistance to chemical attack than 304. It is the preferred steel for use in marine environments because of its greater resistance to pitting corrosion than any other steel.
