These size 1/0 Czech glass seed beads from Preciosa Ornela come in a rich opaque dark orange and are sold in a generous 8-strand pack — giving you serious quantity for large-scale or repeat work. At 6.3–6.8 mm, the 1/0 is one of the chunkier sizes in the rocaille family, cut from glass tube in Bohemia for consistent shape and clean holes.

The opaque finish delivers a solid, flat-faced color with no light transmission — that deep, saturated burnt-orange reads boldly from a distance and holds its own against other strong colors without competing for attention.

What to make with them

The larger 1/0 size is well-suited for fiber-integrated work like kumihimo or macramé accents, chunky loom-woven bands, and statement necklaces where you want the bead itself to do the visual heavy lifting. They're also a natural fit for harvest- and festival-themed pieces where warm, earthy tones are the whole point.

Description

Preciosa Ornela Traditional Czech glass seed beads (rocailles) in size 01/0. Each bead measures approximately 6.6 mm across with a 2.00 mm hole. These round seed beads are made using Preciosa's tube-cutting and hot-polishing process, which gives them a gently rounded shape and consistent hole size that works beautifully for loom work, off-loom bead weaving, bead embroidery, and general stringing projects. Use them anywhere you need classic Czech rocailles—from intricate peyote and brick stitch to fringe, edging, and multi-strand designs. Not a toy. Not intended for children under 15 years. Seed beads should be kept away from small children due to the risk of swallowing or inhalation.
