Preciosa Ornela 8/0 seed beads in Permalux Apricot are cut from glass tube in Bohemia, Czechia, and sized at 2.8–3.2 mm — substantial enough to move quickly on the needle while still reading as a classic rocaille. The PermaLux pearl coating carries a durability rating of 2, good for regular wear with normal care.

The PermaLux pearl coating lays a soft, luminous sheen over the warm apricot tone, giving each bead a gentle glow that reads as peachy and light-diffusing rather than flat or glossy.

What to make with them

Their size and durability make these a strong choice for bead-woven bracelets and necklaces that see regular wear — think peyote or brick stitch pieces where the pearl finish catches light across the surface. They also work well strung as spacers in multi-strand bridal or festival jewelry, where the warm apricot holds its own alongside neutrals and creams.

Description

Rocaille Seed Beads are squat and rounded in shape, they're slightly wider around than they are tall.
8/0 Seed beads measure approximately 3.1 millimeters. Expect to receive about 2960 beads per hank. Always be certain to purchase a few more beads than you expect to need to avoid finding yourself a day late and a bead short. Czech glass seed beads exhibit superior quality, outstanding uniformity, and exceptional breadth of assortment, making them the perfect choice for any beading project!
Some metallic, coated, and galvanized beads are not colorfast. Test for colorfastness before use. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and chemicals. Remove jewelry before washing and bathing. Hand wash with water or mild soap if you must clean embroidery.
