These tin jingle cones from N.M. Koch Co. come 50 pieces to a pack and bring both movement and sound to fringe, tassel, and fiber work — a functional finding with genuine jingle.
The fully opaque, metal-like surface reads as plated silver, giving each cone a sleek, industrial finish that photographs well and holds its look under stage or gallery lighting.
Thread them onto the ends of fringe strands in regalia, dance costumes, or statement earrings where the jingle is part of the design intent; they also work beautifully as tassel caps in macramé or fiber jewelry, gathering multiple cords into a tidy, polished point. Handle with care — skip the abrasives and keep them away from harsh chemicals to maintain that metallic surface.

These fabulous little cones are called jingle cones, they are sewn onto dresses and used for traditional Native American dancing. They may of course, also be used as ending cones if you wish.
Jingle dresses are traditionally made by the dancer and her family. Jingle dresses usually have multiple rows of cones from the waist down, and a couple V shaped rows at the chest. Traditional dress designs call for 365 cones, but feel free to use as many as you wish. Jingle cones also make great dangles for jewelry designs.
