8SB164R: CZ Seed Bead Opaque Turquoise Blue 8/0-1HK is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Preciosa Ornela 8/0 seed beads in opaque turquoise blue, sold by the hank — a workhorse size in a color that pulls serious visual weight in any beadwork palette. Cut from glass tube in Bohemia, Czechia, these rocailles bring consistent sizing and reliable coverage to projects that demand both.
The opaque finish delivers solid, non-translucent color — no light bleed, no variation, just a clean, graphic turquoise blue that reads boldly whether you're working up close or at a distance.
At 2.8–3.2 mm, the 8/0 size is well suited for loom work, peyote, and brick stitch pieces where you want a chunkier texture and faster coverage than an 11/0 provides — think wide cuffs, statement earrings, or Southwestern-style fringe. They're also a natural fit for stringing and knotting projects where the opaque turquoise can anchor or accent alongside natural stones and metals.

Preciosa Ornela Traditional Czech glass seed beads (rocailles) in size 08/0. Each bead measures approximately 2.9 mm across with a 0.90 mm (approx.) hole. These round seed beads are made using Preciosa's tube-cutting and hot-polishing process, which gives them a gently rounded shape and consistent hole size that works beautifully for loom work, off-loom bead weaving, bead embroidery, and general stringing projects. Use them anywhere you need classic Czech rocailles—from intricate peyote and brick stitch to fringe, edging, and multi-strand designs. Not a toy. Not intended for children under 15 years. Seed beads should be kept away from small children due to the risk of swallowing or inhalation.
