This 14mm TierraCast cowrie shell bead is cast from cadmium- and lead-free pewter and finished in antiqued fine silver plate, giving you the organic shape of a cowrie with the weight and presence of metal.

The antiqued fine silver plate settles into the shell's ridges and curves, creating a metal-like surface where recessed areas read slightly darker and raised edges catch the light.

Our sweet 7mm Shell Bead Cap and 5mm Rope Magnetic Clasp were imagined and stylized at our work bench. The Mermaid and Sea Turtle have been often requested over the years and we are thrilled that our production team finally brought them to life.
