1SB198: CZ Seed Bead Opaque Dark Purple 1/0 15STR is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
These Preciosa Ornela size 1/0 seed beads in opaque dark purple come in a 15-strand pack, giving you serious working quantity of a Czech glass classic cut from glass tube in Bohemia, Czechia. At 6.3–6.8 mm, the 1/0 is one of the larger seed bead sizes, making it a go-to when you want bold scale and fast coverage.
The opaque finish delivers a solid, non-translucent dark purple — no light passes through, so the color reads as strong and graphic whether you're working under bright studio lights or dim display conditions.
The chunky 1/0 size is well-suited to fiber arts like kumihimo, macramé embellishment, and woven wall hangings where a pronounced bead presence is part of the design. It also works well for statement jewelry — think chunky strung necklaces, wrapped bracelets, or fringe earrings where the larger diameter lets the deep purple color do the heavy lifting.

Preciosa Ornela Traditional Czech glass seed beads (rocailles) in size 01/0. Each bead measures approximately 6.6 mm across with a 2.00 mm hole. These round seed beads are made using Preciosa's tube-cutting and hot-polishing process, which gives them a gently rounded shape and consistent hole size that works beautifully for loom work, off-loom bead weaving, bead embroidery, and general stringing projects. Use them anywhere you need classic Czech rocailles—from intricate peyote and brick stitch to fringe, edging, and multi-strand designs. Not a toy. Not intended for children under 15 years. Seed beads should be kept away from small children due to the risk of swallowing or inhalation.
