These vintage Venetian seed beads were crafted between the late 1800s and early 1920s, a testament to the extraordinary skill of Murano glass artisans working under Societa Veneziana Conterieconsortium of sixteen independent beadmakers united in 1898. Each bead carries over a century of history, made from glass canes that often predate the consortium itself.
