Genuine Venetian 10/0 seed beads from old Società Veneziana Conterie warehouse stock, in Orange #15 with a frosted opaque finish. This is a bright, fully saturated orange in solid opaque glass, wearing a completely matte surface — no gloss, no shine, just a soft, chalky texture that absorbs light instead of bouncing it back. The pairing is what makes this one distinctive: the color itself is warm and vivid, close to ripe persimmon, while the frosted surface lends it a sun-baked, almost ceramic character that a glossy orange simply cannot reproduce.

Worked in quantity, the frosted surface reads as a smooth, even field of color with no individual points of sparkle — a dense, velvety orange that holds its tone across a whole piece.
