Description
Labradorite, rainbow moonstone, sunstone, and moonstone are all members of the feldspar group that exhibit a pronounced schiller (oil slick shimmer).
Moonstone naturally occurs in a broad spectrum of colors, but is most commonly associated with white, gray and peach. The chatoyancy often recalls the soft light of the moon, hence the name.
