Description
Take a closer look at this lovely strand of Blue and Green Krobo Beads. Made by the people of Krobo Mountain in Ghana, West Africa. Many designs of Krobo beads are patterned to resemble old Venetian FANCY trade beads. Made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then poured into molds in order to create these round shaped beads. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of colored glass powder and water which is applied by hand using a thin wooden stalk. Each bead is unique and will measure about 10 x 12mm with a stringing hole of approximately 3mm. You will receive one strand of beads measuring roughly 31" containing about 57 Beads. Add a touch of artisan variety to your design kit today.
