These are color-lined: the bead body is clear, colorless glass, and the green lives inside as a coating along the hole channel. Looking down at a dish of them you see the green concentrated at the center of each bead, ringed by clear glass that catches and scatters light around it — an effect no solid-colored bead reproduces, because the color appears to float inside rather than sit on the surface.

The green here is a true medium green with a faint cool lean toward emerald, and lining density varies noticeably across this lot: some beads carry a deep saturated core, others a much lighter wash that reads almost white against the clear glass.
