Beadalon Stainless Steel Shaping Wire is great for all types of wire wrapping, weight bearing designs, and holding designs together. Crafted from Type 316L stainless steel, this specially tempered wire has a different feel than other half hard materials such as gold-filled or sterling silver wire, however it's a great alternative and is stronger. The stainless steel material is perfect for practice and teaching classes. Stainless steel is harder and will work harden faster than other half hard wires.
Wire is measured in gauges. The smaller the gauge number, the thicker the wire. This 21 Gauge shaping wire measures about 0.72mm in diameter, and is ideal for coiled beads, eye pins, and most wire wrapped jewelry.
